Our dogs love going here. We feel they are in such good hands and would highly recommend them!

I brought in my Australian Shepherd, Chivas, in for boarding and grooming over Easter for a week. Joyce and staff fell in love with Chivas and treated him like a king. They even got him to wear bunny ears on Easter! (He's not one for dress up) The space here is amazing. I live in the city and none of the places that board around here have good outdoor space. It's worth the drive out to Country Kennels to give my boy room to wander. Play time is such a great plus!

We have been boarding our dog Bailey here fir the last year for over night stays or when were traveling. We always feel good about leveling her when we see how excited she is when we get there. The kennel is very clean and the service is wonderful. Highly recommended!

We have been using Country Lane for some time now with multiple dogs! they have always done a wonderful job, and when one of my dogs was hurt just playing, they carried him into our vet and took wonderful care of him until we returned home! I highly recommend it!

I have taken Watson for all 14 years he has been with us and our previous dog when she was alive. A great place for nails and baths as well. So convenient for us!

We love Country Lane! Our 3 doxies wiggle and whine with excitement every time we pull in to the parking lot. The grooming is great as well. All the staff is very affectionate and caring with my babies and happily update me every time I call to check on them. They even remember their names when I say “I need to kennel my 3 doxies!” I’m not sure if that’s good, or bad haha. My girls can be a handful.

Bear seems like he really enjoys being here when I go to pick him up. He also smells and looks GREAT after he is all groomed. Recommend this place to everybody!

Just got back from a long weekend and must say how impressed we were with the team at Country Lane Kennels. From the first call to the pickup of the girls they were nothing short of awesome. During the first call the owner talked to me for almost 15 minutes to answer all my questions and ease my concerns over boarding my pups. When we dropped them off we were welcomed with friendly faces and happy attitudes you can't fake, The owner came out when we arrived and spent time...

They are the best dog lovers I have ever seen. When my dog had a medical problem they took her to my vet and had her treated. That is so reassuring when you're out of town. I would never hesitate to use them again. Thank you Country Lane Kennel.

The ONLY kennel we have ever used for our dogs :) Every staff member is incredibly nice and takes great care of our beagle Maggie! Whether we need her boarded for the weekend or for a week we know she is going to be well taken care of and loved. Very clean facility and every time we take Maggie in she is always happy. Highly recommend :)

They really do take great care of our Lucy. Whatever she needs, whenever and however; from dietary needs to how she prefers to use her playtime, her friends at Country Lane are very responsive and caring. Their grooming service is excellent as well. It all means so much to us as well.

Cannot beat the individual kennel and run setup. My dog never seems kennel shy when I pick her up. Repeat user.

Great kennel! Very reasonable. Also had the convenience of getting my dog groomed while being boarded! Highly recommended!

Great service and they truly love our dog!

We had been using Country Lane for several years when it was sold to a new owner last summer. At first I was very hesitant and tried a couple of different places. However, we've been back to Country Lane now for at least 6 visits. The new owner, Joyce, is very nice and seems to care about the dogs a great deal. Most importantly, my dog doesn't hesitate to go with the care givers. The information they share with me shows that they truly know my dog and her needs. I just wish they had someone on site 24 hours a day.

We do not board our dogs often, but when we do, we only chose Country Lane Kennels. We have 2 dogs and they stay in the same enclosure. Our older dog used to become stressed when he would boarded and would not eat. At Country Lane he eats and does not seem as stressed. Our younger dog is very fearful, but she is not afraid of the employees and willingly goes with them. She seems happy and content when we pick her up. My dogs come home content and happy.

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful kennel Country Lane is. I had a Rottie and he loved Linda and her staff. Nothing but the best

Worked here for a year, and only good things to say about it. Only reason I left is because I was offered better pay with a flexible schedule. They make sure we woke up bright and early to take care of your dogs. I would have no fear sending my own dogs here. The building is meticulously cleaned multiple times throughout the day, every person who works there has a profound love of dogs, and the owner, joyce, is a personable and nice lady who will make sure your dogs are taken care of just how you want them. I loved working there, and it's a great place for your dog. And I know this may sound a little biased, but hey, I'm a first hand source. Ask them for a tour of the place and they'll gladly shoe you how clean it is.

I have shown and trained dogs for over 30 years, and Country Lane is where I keep my dogs when they have to be kenneled. Unlike many other larger kennels, on big holidays, Linda only takes the dogs she has runs and time for, not taking ALL dogs, and keeping many in crates instead of runs, without telling the owners She is conscientious enough to not take a dog that needs more special needs attention that should be handled by a veterinary stay. Linda has always cared personally for my dogs, and given them individual personal attention. She also lives ON the property, not in another building, but her house adjoins the kennels. The place is so clean in and out, you could actually eat off the floors. Linda has also shown dogs for 30+ years, and keeps herself impeccably, and knows the propler care for dogs, from her experience. Many show people trust her with their dogs, but she treats ALL the dogs that stay there with the same care and attention,(which I have seen firsthand). Every one of the dogs there is special to her. My dogs pull me into the office, when they are going there! All of the dogs get personal care, and the Police Department boards several of it's dogs there. While other kennels will often tell you everything is "just great" Linda is honest about what is best for your dog. I respect this very much, instead of a glazing over that "everything is just fine" , if your dogs is anxious or won't eat. It is a smaller kennel, so the dogs are all given individual attention, and the yards are fantastic, and very clean. I can recommend Country Lane with the highest degree of confidence, from personal experience.

I was very happy with Country Lane Kennels. Our 2 dogs (basset and a pointer) had only been to a boarding facility once so I was quite hesitant to leave them. At first I thought the owner came off as less-friendly, but I learned soon that she simply takes her job seriously. I even called to ask about my dogs while we were gone and she knew facts about each of them that ensured me that she had spent time with them. When we picked them up they even smelled good, unlike the place we had boarded them before. She knows her stuff when it comes to boarding. I definately recommend Country Lane Kennels.

    VERY NICE KENNEL
I have boarded my dogs at this kennel and was very satisfied with the service I received. This is a family-owned kennel, the owner lives on site. When I picked my dogs up from their stay, they both seemed very happy. I would not hesitate to use this kennel again.

This is the ONLY place I will ...
This is the ONLY place I will board my dogs. I have show dogs, as well as rescues, and the owner lives ATTACHED to the kennel, (not in another building, or even off premesis, as most kennel owners do), and shows dogs herself., so she is well aware of dog needs, behavior, and health indicators.
The place is SPOTLESS, cleaner than ANY other i have seen, and is run to a T, due to her living right there.
The dogs are given personal attention to their special needs, and, unlike others, you are welcome to take a tour of the WHOLE facility, because there is nothing to hide.
Linda is very attentive to each dog. I have used her facility over the years, when I need to board my dogs, or one of the girls is in season. I can be assured if one of my dogs is anxious. Linda will take special care to make that one feel more comfortable, and there will be no dogs allowed to bully my dog, nor any worry about "escapees".
My dogs know Country Lane, even though they don't stay there that often, and get VERY excited when we go there. Ms. Breidenstein also takes care of most of the St. Charles Police Officers dogs, as well as many of the show dog communitys dogs, when they need to be boarded. She is also personally available to take your dog to the vet, at the time needed, if there is a concern.
I can't recommend Country Lane Kennels highly enough, and there is truly no other place i can recommend in St. Louis this highly. I have worked at several kennels, although not at Country Lane, so I know a good kennel when I see one. Reservations are needed early, as it is a small, privately owned kennel (no big corporation, designed to make money).
I woliud trust my dogs with Linda (and HAVE) any day of the week. If you want the very best, without slick gimmicks, but honest good care, take your dog to Country Lane.

I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. . All of the same staff. All my dogs enjoy the loving care they receive. Book early if you are thinking about boarding over a holiday. The two one acre play areas are awesome I have been told that they will open the grooming portion soon in the spring
